October 25th - Celebrate Take Me Outside Day!

The Take Me Outside Run Across Canada is almost complete! Colin will be finishing his cross-Canada tour on October 25th at Royal Roads University on Vancouver Island.

Take Me Outside, in partnership with The Child and Nature Alliance and KidActive, is in its final days of completing the TMO Project: Unplugging and Reconnecting Outside - an interactive, educational and inspirational run across Canada focused on getting youth outside and active, while reconnecting with nature.

On January 17, Colin commenced his cross Canada run at Signal Hill, running to Holy Family School In Paradise, where 600 students joined him outside for a walk/run and then inside for a short presentation. He has stopped in over 75 schools across the country and chatted with over 19,000 students so far.

On October 25, Colin will finish his 7600 km run across the country at Royal Roads University. On this day, which has been designated ‘Take Me Outside’ Day, thousands of students across Canada will go outside with their teachers to celebrate the end of this run with Colin and to signify the importance of getting outside, active and connected with nature.
